What a pleasure to watch young Usain Bolt of Jamaica romp to a new World record in the 100m sprint! Usually they cross the line straining to get the chest over - he was leaning backwards, thumping his chest and delightedly telling the world "Look at me!"
And on a day when we've picked up 4 Gold medals, a Silver and 3 bronzes to add to our tally too. I think I've achieved new heights of armchair sports-viewing!

Brilliant - I love the cycling too, although I think the kierin is a little weird - I wonder who thought that one up as a race?
I stayed up to watch Rebecca Adlington in the swimming, and then dozed off at the crucial point!

I thought about staying up to watch Paula, but feared I might do the same... I was in the same race as her once, of course! I was trundling across Tower Bridge as she crossed the finishing line - but fair do's, they did give her a head start!!
